Statement
"To Achieve
a better life for our senior citizens so that they may enjoy not endure,
the autumn of their lives."
To this end our objectives
are:-

To promote the welfare
and interests of senior citizens.

To provide a platform
where matters of concern can be raised, addressed, and action taken.

To identify issues and
objectives resulting from consultation with and information drawn from
all members across the county.

To prepare policies and
objectives on key identified issues.

To present and negotiate
the key issues and objectives with Shropshire County Council, service
providers, organizations and local bodies related to the issues concerned.

To pursue the objectives
of our mission at Shire, National and International level.

We have a new Editor
of the Forum News Abigail Price, she joined us in February 2011. She is
an experienced journalist having worked for the Lincolnshire Newspaper
Group for ten years, and previously to that as a reporter for the
Shropshire Star. She has returned to the County to live with her parents
in Wem.
If you have any items for the Forum News please pass them to Abigail at
the association offices either by Post,Telephone, or by email.
